Concept - 12 Thoughts
Our happening here comes in the form of our physical bodies.
We find ourselves in the middle of earth and heaven. Our relationship
with the planet earth is like mother and child. The heavens sustain
us, inspire us and enrich our lives with spirit; our relationship
with the heavens is like father and child.
From this standpoint on earth, with feet firmly planted in the ground
we can start our search on the path to finding a communion with
the sacred and learning to know and love one another.
With this great human love we can connect to a greater Divine Love
and discover the reason for living.
This is my attempt: to simplify and illustrate twelve steps from
the temporal to the spiritual so as to be able to find the balance
in-between, to live our lives with love, human and Divine.
An open heart is the key to the balance of earth and heaven. Stop
talking and thinking and there is nothing you will not be able to
know or have. When we let go of our striving is it possible to enter
within ourselves and discover the Truth.
To find the middle ground is really like finding a needle in a haystack.
But it is there and we have the capacity to find it. It is a river
of love. It has no form or visual image, but it is there and can
be experienced within us in the form of unconditional love. We are
transformed from within by the opening of the heart. Only then can
we begin to learn how to move from matter to spirit, how to look
at our bodies as temples, how to look at ourselves as who we are
and who we are really meant to be.
Finding balance means being set free from ego. Finding balance presents
us with a chance of being set free.
